Never Felt a True Hatred Like I Did When I Saw This.......

I love movies......they are exciting, sad, happy, funny, and thrilling. There are seriously very few movies that I can think of that I absolutely hated. This one earns the reward, though, for worst movie E.V.E.R. I will give all the credit of having to watch this wretched movie to my dear husband. He was convinced (because obviously Liam Neeson is a true Baller) the movie would be the thrill that all Liam Neeson movies are. However, we were in for the "thrill" of experiencing the failure of a movie that could have the potential to be amazing. This horrible movie that I am warning you to never see is The Grey.

Like I said, this movie COULD have been awesome. Why? Well, let's take a little look. The Grey has Liam Neeson, it has a plane crash that actually has survivors (something we all wish would happen to us if we were in a plane crash), it has badass wolves, crazy wintery weather, and lastly.....Liam Neeson who was a wolf killer in the beginning of the movie. Who really cares if the other men died, but NO ONE with a soul wanted anything to happen to our precious Liam! After watching Taken we all basically expect Liam to take down 20-30 men at a time, and when 5-10 wolves were about to take him down......I mean I'm still confused and JUST. DON'T. GET. IT.

I'm purposefully NOT attaching the trailer because it is a waste of your time, however This Is Not a dog on Liam...just on The Grey.

If you are at all depressed.....seriously do not watch this!!!!!

I Wish it was Real......

I really, really, really, really, really wish there was such a thing as magical powers! This deep need for something to exist in real life is all due to Harry Potter. Yes, I know you know who I am talking about and if you have chosen not to have a strong relationship with this ridiculously amazing series......please stop everything that is happening in your life and read/watch all that is Harry Potter. You then need to thank me on here for changing and saving your life.

The first Harry Potter movie was wonderful and aligned with the book pretty closely. Every movie after that just got better and better. When the last movie ended I actually wished that I had no knowledge of Harry Potter, so I could relive it all over again.

Harry Potter is by far my favorite series when it comes to books and movies. You can tell that the movies were expensive to produce and aligned fairly closely to the books, which is what book lovers want when they go to see the movie version. Nothing is more disappointing than watching a movie that you longed to see and it is nothing like the book you fell in love with. In my opinion, no movie will ever come close to any book that was written for it, however Harry Potter comes VERY close.

Check out the trailers below if you're interested in this series. I promise...IT. IS. WORTH. IT.

The Phantom has Always been Alive in my Mind

I may be a major Sci-fi/fantasy movie lover, but I also won't turn down a chance to watch a musical. I am a high school thespian (not a very good one, I'll admit), however that has made me a lover of theater and especially musical themed movies. There are some awesome ones out there like Rent, Les Miserables, Moulin Rouge!, Sweeney Todd, and Grease. HOWEVER, the one that really gets my vote will always be The Phantom of the Opera. It's kind of boring, depressing, and dramatic and.......awesome.

My husband and I went to New York City for vacation one summer, and out of all the shows I could have chosen to see it was, of course, Phantom of the Opera! It was AMAZING on stage (for me)! My husband actually fell asleep during the show, which may have been because of the two bottles of wine we drank before the show.......we were on vacation in our defense. Although, Nick fell asleep during this excruciatingly perfect musical I highly recommend seeing the movie and the play if you ever get the chance!

Please watch the reason I love this movie!

Love at First View

There are so many amazing movies out there, but I am a serious Sci-fi/Fantasy movie lover. My husband always jokes about me being bored with his just human like qualities....ha ha ha....ummmmm. These movies have so much going on and so many unrealistic settings, characters, or events, but that is exactly why I LOVE them! These movies are like an escape from the reality of your life (not that mine sucks) for a little while. I mean who wouldn't want to dream about flying or having magical powers or totally obliterating others with your awesomeness? HOWEVER, there is an ultimate favorite for me and that is........

I watched Avatar in theaters twice and it could have been a third, fourth, or even fifth time. I ABSOLUTELY love this movie! There are very few movies that I would like to actually own (which is because you may only watch them once), but this movie I could watch over and over and over again. My husband is so sick of it, I would bet that he probably has nightmares about it. I very much doubt that I will ever find another movie that I love more than this because it has stolen my heart, but you never know!

In case you for some CRAZY reason haven't seen this movie....here's the trailer to check out!

Where It All Began......

I have always L.O.V.E.D movies, like most people. They are exciting, scary, happy, sad, and every other emotion you could possibly feel! However, I have to pay tribute to where it all began for me......

Disney movies were the beginning for me and many other people, and that is because they are awesome! I have many memories from watching Beauty and the Beast, Snow White, Pocahontas, The Little Mermaid, and about every Mickey Mouse movie there ever was. I will definitely be purchasing all of my favorites for my own children and hopefully instilling the same love I have for movies in them. Disney movies are definitely old school, but their message is clear and honorable. I have to say that I feel that these older Disney movies have a strong message and I will always LOVE them.

Let's go ahead and take a look at why these movies are. just. everything.

An Oldie but a Goodie...

I had a serious obsession with this one.

As my final thought, check out your Disney princess knowledge by challenging yourself to this Disney princess quote quiz by clicking here! I got 7 out of 13......kind of disappointing but I'll be giving it another try later.
